Each situation may
require a different process for the safe removal of a colony of
Honeybees. In order to capture the entire colony, it must be
removed after dark when all the bees are home. Typically, all
combs are taken along with as many of the bees as possible,
their food supply, their babies and their eggs. We will use a
vacuum when possible.
If the bees are in a tree, portions of the
tree may have to be cut and taken to the Haven. If the bees are in the wall of your house
we may have to remove some of the siding or some of the interior
drywall/plaster to assure that the colony is completely
removed. While we are as careful and as tidy as possible, some
damage will occur.
We are not
carpenters or contractors and do not have the ability to repair
any damage that must be done to your home to remove the bees. We advise you to hire a licensed contractor for any needed
repairs. |
